Nicola Sinclair is the Founder and solo General Partner of Twin Track Ventures, a London-based venture capital fund accelerating growth for dual-use deep tech founders, turning defence traction into commercial scale. She focuses on pre Series A startups developing foundational deep tech that can strengthen NATO & Allies and scale across multiple markets. Europe’s only solo GP with a track record in the business of defence,

Nicola has a sharp insight into the defence market and how to use it as an accelerant for commercialisation. Nicola started her career in the early 2000s at the Royal Air Force, where she worked in operational roles for two decades, acting in international projects and serving in the British delegation in the NATO headquarters. In 2018, she founded the Air Innovation Fund, helping over 20 Pre-Seed and Seed deeptech companies secure defence contracts in the UK and the US. She authors the annual Working with Defence and Security Report, and is a member of the European Defence Investors Network.
